I typically follow the American Heart Association guidelines. I also try to follow Dr. Sinatra&#039;s recommendation to select a supplement that provides 750 mg of DHA/EPA per 1000 mg fish oil. Difficult to find a supplement at this level. The highest I&#039;ve found is 684 mg/1000 mg fish oil.
